It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Tuesday, 8 December 2015

Although I may not have been home to decorate the family tree, my flat looks preeeetty festive right now. Having bought a tree and baubles last Christmas, Meg and I simply had to put it up! We spent a Sunday evening carefully placing the ornaments onto our 5ft tree, making sure that no two of the same colour were directly next to each other. We also decorated our triple-bay window by wrapping fairylights around our curtain pole and placing a white and gold strip of tinsel across the windowsill. Two rose gold candles always live next to our window, usually with a bunch of fake, purple peonies in-between. To go with the Christmas theme, however, I replaced the flowers with a gorgeous snowglobe that I received as a present last holiday season. Meg then had the brilliant idea to lay spare baubles on our windowsill as well—and the rest is history!

The only thing we're missing is a beautiful wreath! How have you decorated your home this Christmas?
